Earthly Possessions

A disenchanted wife, contemplating leaving her clergyman spouse, finds herself caught up in a bank heist as a hostage. Instead of fear, she feels exhilarated by the adventure and decides to aid the young thief in evading capture. As events unfold, she discovers that his motive for the robbery was to secure funds to assist his pregnant girlfriend in escaping a home for unwed mothers. Although they share a fleeting romantic connection, it becomes evident that the housewife is simply seeking excitement to break the monotony of her life.
