Ladyhawke

In “Ladyhawke,” directed by Richard Donner, a young thief named Philippe Gaston escapes from a medieval dungeon and becomes entangled in the plight of two lovers, Navarre and Isabeau, who are cursed to be eternally apart. As Navarre transforms into a wolf by night and Isabeau into a hawk by day, Philippe becomes their unlikely ally in a quest to break the curse and confront the malevolent bishop responsible for their suffering.
