Brett Bumpers, the intellectual standout at Martin Van Buren High School, is about to experience a significant shift in his life. Awkward in social situations and deeply infatuated with Samantha, the school’s beauty, Brett unexpectedly receives a mysterious package containing a talisman that grants him three wishes. His first wish is for Samantha to accompany him to the school dance, followed by a second wish for her to fall in love with him. However, these wishes unleash malevolent forces, awakening a dark entity that begins to systematically and brutally target the senior class, with its ultimate aim being Samantha’s destruction. To save the girl he loves, Brett must use his final wish to redirect the dark power of this sinister force onto himself.
